Nov 25, 2018 · My problem shows up with my laptop, which is running Windows 10 and (obviously) using the Windows version of Airport Utility, version 5.6.1. My airport extreme is a 5th generation, and the firmware version is 7.6.9. My only clue is that I seem to be able to find my airport devices for awhile after I have done something in the nature of a reboot.

Feb 07, 2016 · That worked. Used the Canon to print via the Apple Airport for several years. Took advantage of the free Win 10 upgrade. No printer issues. Win 10 was happy to use the installed printer driver and continued to connect through the Airport. This lasted for about 3 months. Hard drive crash and unfortunately a clean install of Win 10.

Unplug your AirPort Extreme, and wait 10 seconds. Plug it back in, and connect to the WiFi network as soon as possible, then immediately go to the AirPort Utility. The AirPort should appear and be manageable (by clicking on it) for a brief period—quickly click on it, click Edit, then clear out any Apple IDs in the 'Back to My Mac' section.
