Aug 24, 2018 · In my Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes under accounts is my GMail account which has been working perfectly fine on my iPhone X & iPad until I changed my GMail password. Naturally, the next time I go to check my GMail email on my phone & iPad (NOTE: I do not use a separate GMail app) it tells me to update my password in Settings.

I removed the second password line as I never use Thunderbird to access that account. I believe that password got stored when I once added that second Google account, only in order to check an issue with my wife's gmail, and then I removed the account from Thunderbird. I am not clear what "Password Manager" you are referring to.
